41 days to go
22.6 lbs to go ( up 2.4 lbs!!)
31.4% body fat (up)
31.7% muscle(down)
18:6 fast

25.59g carbs ( under 25)
70.24g fat (81-107)
73.55g protein(65-82g)
1059 Cals ( 1119-1358cals)

I just don't know 🤔
My target is now another 2.4 lbs away
I was active for as long as my joints would allow yesterday.. recording my activity throughout the day to motivate myself to move more
I tried to stay positive.. inspired by my cousin's wife who ran a half marathon yesterday( I'd just like to be fit enough to use me bike or go for a walk without pain and falling over)
No snacks yesterday
Less tea ( to cut down on fat) and more water
No biscuits or crackers or bread.
No cheese or nuts( this is why I was under my calorie target)
Cooked chips for everyone at home.. honestly didn't eat one!
Took our leftover Bombay potato , our leftover curry, rice and onion bajhi to my friend who fancied a curry while we chatted over her family issues. I went for a cuppa and drank water as I was at my carbs limit and so couldn't drink tea, but was still able to support my friend.

Brought the teenagers home from a party.. went to Starbucks and Maccy Ds on the way home and STILL only had bottled water

Got back home at 1am and resisted krackerwheat and cheese that The OH was eating..

And I still PUT ON ANOTHER 2 LBS!!😱😱
Trying to be patient and plod on.. but it's really starting to get me down.. food diary is up to date and accurate.. any ideas anyone ???🤔🤔🤔
Gonna have a nice hot shower to get my joints moving before I start pulling hungover teenagers out of bed to go to work 🤣🤣
Have a super Sunday fs friends 😁😁

Don't despair, Poppy. Going by your diet calendar and the amount of water you drank yesterday, I'm pretty sure you're retaining water. Don't put too much faith in the scales that say you are gaining fat. They're not always accurate. Yesterday you drank over double the recommended amount of 8 cups of water a day. Maybe your medications are making you retain water and this can actually be dangerous if you overhydrate - especially while taking certain medications. You might like to Google "overhydration". Please take care x

Hi Poppy. Sorry to hear you're feeling low today. It must be frustrating, making all those sacrifices and gaining rather than losing. But Doobrie makes a good point about water retention. And it's likely that inflammation won't be helping that. Is there any way you can spoil yourself or give yourself some kind of treat that would improve your mood? A pedicure or manicure? A nice perfume or an outing? Even a loll in the bath with some luxury bath oil or similar! Something for you. It looks like you're doing lots for others. That's a really good thing to do but very draining. Sometimes we all need time for ourselves.

Thanks snoop and Doobs Maybe you're right Doobs.. I did look it up and u did drink a bit more than usual.. but one of my meds makes me thirsty..scales still say roughly the same for %hydration and my urine is normal colour. I don't feel any more confused than I normally do with 5?hrs sleep and hungover teenagers.. I think I drank moe as I was awake fir nearly 20 hrs and didn't realise Snoop I'm going to get my makeup done at Clinique counter at 11am to cheer myself up.. I'm getting better at self care since u started this journey ( tho no longer working 7 days weeks in 2 jobs also helps😉) Just tired and frustrated today

Remember... weigh on the same day and at about the same time... no more than once per week... your weight fluctuates daily... Tea without milk and sugar should not have carbs or calories...

Thanks Alex Even if I weighed weekly, the trend is still upwards As in trying to keep carbs under 25, I have 2 tsp cream in each cuppa( I used to have my tea half milk)..and I was such a teapot that all the carbs in my tea add up
