It's now ~40 hrs since my last real meal. My body is not hungry, and actually feels a bit full, somehow. (I've been drinking a good amt of water, but wouldn't expect it to fill me up.)

Still, I'm starting to fantasize about nicely spiced and crispy food.

I'm hoping to hold out until my BG is at least normal before I eat in order to give my body the best chance of dealing with it without getting into dangerously high BG territory.

This sort of fantasizing has been the reason I binge sometimes. I'm hoping I can avoid that this time.

so my question what do you do when im not hungry but feel like i need to eat i wasnt hungry today and just 30 min ago i had 2 cups of broth would that effect my fast

I can only speak for myself. Drinking broth or other minimal carb/protein drink would probably have been the best option for me. What kind of diet are you on? And are you on any medications that would be affected by what you eat? I ask to find out whether there is any real "need to eat".
