So o did a longer fast, met ALL my macros, recorded accurately ( even weighing all the individual components of my stew) and had the most active day I've had in ages...

And I put on a pound 😌
Ho hum, at this rate I'll still have 20lbs to go on the 4th Nov.
I'm now2 weeks post surgery. I won't lie, I am disappointed my weight's going in the opposite direction 🙄😞

So today o won't drink as much tea (with cream) to curb my appetite.. will drink more water instead....

Read an interesting article yesterday, I'm no good at copying web address onto fs, but if you google

" riding the wave, using mindfulness to ride out the urges" by the portlandpayxhotgerapyclinic..
You can see what I tried yesterday and will have another go at today.

Kids start school late today, so I'm gonna jump in a nice hot shower before they get up!
Have a happy and successful Friday fs friends 😁😁

Interesting article, Poppy. I've read quite a bit about mindfulness. The technique can be applied to lots of situations. Don't worry about the increase in weight. Could be just medication or inflammation. Good idea to keep tweaking your diet though. Have a nice Friday 🙂

Inflammation I reckon. And Cortisol the stress hormone.

If you're doing all the right things (and you are) then it can only be something like inflammation or a sluggish gut. There's really no other option so don't get despondent and ride it out. Take care 🤗
