30.6%fat

19g carbs (aiming under 25)
95.99 g fat (81-107)
89.59 G protein (65-82)
1329 Cals ( 1119-1358)

Slightly over on protein but met the rest of my macros 🎉
Managed 20 hour fast

Cooked a chicken and harissa traybake for dinner.. it was really yummy

Just marinade chicken in harissa paste and red wine vinegar

Put on baking tray with garlic cloves, onion, mixed peppers , Charlotte potatoes and drizzle with oil. ( I had 2 mini potatoes)
Bake for an hour, then garnish with mint . Was a hit with everyone, OH has even taken the leftovers for lunch 😁

Trying to experiment with more flavours 😋😋, so that I can have meals I look forward to, as I no longer enjoy cakes/ puddings even if I eat them and will certainly never eat pringles, my previous go-to snack again!!( thanks FFBB)

Just remembered I had 2 tbsp plain yoghurt, so macros are slightly more, but it helped me to manage the spice 😉😉

Starting to move a bit more, so also going back to recording activity today ! Yay!

Have a great Thursday fs friends 🤗🤗

Sounds like you had a yummy meal, poppycom. We had chicken tagine last night, done in the pressure cooker. I just love North African spicing and harissa. Might try your dish shortly. Glad to hear you're feeling a bit more active. That's a good sign. Are you starting to feel like you're on the road to recovery?

Yes thanks snoop.. still can't wear a waistband because of my swollen back, but up and about in dresses😁 We'd never had harissa before, or any North African food.. but will definitely be eating more as it was so yummy 😋 Will have to try a tagine next 😋😋

Chicken and potato tray bakes are so easy and you can do so many different spicing combinations with them. I love them. Nice drop

Hi SMP It's a North African chilli/garlic paste or spice mix.. I just bought the paste in a jar, mixed it with a little red wine vinegar and threw chicken and bell peppers in and left it in the fridge... never had it before, but it was soooo tasty and quite low in carbs I got it in a normal supermarket where all the garlic paste, crushed chilli jars etc were. They also had it dried, but my hands are a bit rubbish at the moment to do ant unnecessary mixing... great easy dinner for bad hand days( u could also use chopped peppers in brine from the jar) 😁
