I second adrianna's comment. If anything, this should be the perfect time for you and your health. You should be too busy to make mistakes. And think of all the exercise you are getting in. You can do this.

Why do you really want to give up? Look within yourself and answer that question. Cause I'll tell you, there's no reason moving should matter. Just remember, you are only making it harder on yourself when you finally do decide to lose the weight. But if you aren't ready, you aren't ready. It takes a lot of commitment. Just remember, uncontrolled eating and drinking (binging) aren't a normal way of being. If you overeat a lot, you're harming yourself. Wish you luck, either way.

There will always be an excuse to quit if you really want to. A bad day, a birthday, a special occasion, moving... What do you want more: to eat whatever is handy, or to lose weight and be healthy and thin? If you grab this excuse and run, you may as well just accept the fact that you will never be able to take off the weight and keep it off.

Never say never :) Everybody falls down a bunch of times before they learn to walk. There's no shame in it. I often wish I had done this sooner, but the truth is, I couldn't have. I just wasn't ready to take the responsibility and really accept that it is MY CHOICE whether I eat everything in sight and get fat or pay attention and be healthy. Hope you come back when you're ready, Shari!

And once your settled, it will be "I'll wait until after the summer, then I'll get serious" then in September it will be "the holidays are coming, January 1st, I'll get serious". The journy of a thousand miles begins with the first step, you'll get blisters once and a while, but why start over when that journey will be just as long and yes, sometimes painful, the next time you start?
