Sometimes you just have say, #*%!} it and go over the carbs when you go out to dinner spur of the moment. Great fajitas and guacamole, and first alcohol I've had in 2 1/2 months. I miss my Baileys, but the wine is awesome.

Diet Calendar Entry for 20 March 2012:
1716 kcal Fat: 124.02g | Prot: 93.95g | Carb: 63.88g.   Breakfast: spinach, Espresso with 4 oz water added, hellmans real mayonnaise, Egg, butter. Lunch: Cauliflower, Butter, Organic valley mild cheddar, applegate turkey, Green Olives with Pimento. Dinner: Red peppers, Pico de gallo, Grilled steak strips, Green peppers grilled, Onions, Lettuce, Salsa, Guacamole, Sour cream. Snacks/Other: Cabernet Sauvignon. more...

Thats the problem I had when I tried Atkins, you have to have a better imagination than mine to figure out a good varied diet that fits into all situations on Atkins.

I had red and green bell peppers instead of chips with the guacamole and salsa, and asked for no beans, rice or tortillas. It was delicious. I went over on carbs. I hate having to count....

You did great! If, by chance, I go to a Mexican restaurant, I'll be saying, #*%!} it, and have to get back on track the next day, because I'd be having tres leche cake and a cup of coffee for dessert. I love Mexican food. :-)

OMG I LOVE and MISS Mexican food! too bad cheese echiladas, refried beans, and rice aren't on the diet! :) Your numbers might be better than you thought. Remember when they say 1 "cup" guacamole and Salsa, they don't mean the little silver (2 oz) cup that comes with the meal. Fat Secret means a full 8 oz baking cup. You might want to revisit those numbers. (Or not, either way-what bliss!)

Hard, eating out sometimes. Some places just don't have a varied enough menu. Well done for passing on the chips and the baileys (mmm... stronger resolve than me mmmm.. Baileys)
