Hello Tuesday, and to all my friends here. I got a late start today, breakfast was very late. Then I stood for over an hour at the keyboard preparing it for Sunday's worship. I keep changing things as I sing. This Yamaha keyboard is amazing, it's actually an arranger, beautiful "voices", more than one can imagine. It took me quite a while to learn, still am learing......It's like having an entire orchestra backing up our voices. Now I have my legs up, too much standing. Seems once I get started with the music I can't stop, been a lifetime passion for me. I had some hot flax "cereal" this morning, flax ground, hot water, microwave 1/2 minute then stevia, cinnamon and unsweetened almond milk on top. It's good and FAST. Have a great day everyone!

I didn't know you were so musically talented; sounds like you had a great time. :-) The hot flax cereal sounds good, I may a have to try it, as a change of pace, in place of my usual eggs, and some sort of breakfast meat. You have a great day too. :-)

I have the "cereal" instead of the MIM. It's nice too as a snack and to get some extra fiber for the day.

Do you have a recipe with quantities for the cereal? I would like to try it. :) Thanks!

It's an easy recipe, I use 1/4 cup ground flax meal, put it into a bowl and add some hot water, about 1/2 cup or more. I stir it up and put it in the microwave for about 1/2 minute on high. Be careful taking it out, the bowl might be hot. If it need more water, add a bit more or pour about 1/2 cup of sugar free Almond milk over the "cereal". Top with Cinnamon/Splenda or Truvia or whatever you like on top. It tastes pretty good, at least I think so. It reminds me a little of Wheatena. You can also mix flax with almond flour, whatever you enjoy. Just experiment a little. Sliced strawberries might be good with it too. ;)
