Just a disclaimer: I'm a nurse and talk about bodily functions doesn't bother me in the least. If you're bothered by such things, don't keep reading.
Okay, you were warned...
I had a totally unexpected 3 lbs bump up in my weight this morning. I've been pretty good in my number of carbs, only going over like 2 carbs twice. I'm wondering now and asking your advice, could it be because I'm not getting enough of my vegetables in? Is it just the utter lack of fiber in my diet lately that's slowing things down and making me not...do that thing...that you do when you have enough fiber?
I stopped at the store today and got Metamucil because I know Dr. Atkins recommends adding a tsp of psyllium fiber to your diet every day, so maybe that will help. At any rate, this isn't a sprint, I know...It's a marathon. But unexpectedly being up 3 lbs this morning was a real...bummer, for lack of better word.
Perhaps that's why I wasn't feeling well last night. Oh well, today's a new day...

Yes, the fiber will help. I took 2 tsp of Benefiber 3 times a day to keep things moving for the first 3 weeks on the plan. If I didn't I would feel bloated and only have a BM every two to three days....once you start upping your carb intake as you go along, it won't be such a problem. At least it isn't for me anymore....I'm at 40-50 net a day and no longer have a problem with the #2 thing...hope that helps!

This is not uncommon when starting Atkins. The fiber will help, as well as, drinking enough water. Once your body gets used to the diet and you add in more carbs, you should be fine. Until then, flax meal is a great source of fiber on this diet. You can make MIMs (muffin in a minute) with it, which are pretty tasty. You can also try introducing some virgin coconut oil into your diet. I have found that this can cause "things" to get moving as well. There is a recipe for Chocolate Bark, made with this, that is a nice treat. Hope this helps :)

Fiber is your friend :)
Unless you feel backed up, I think it also is just a way of eating that produces less waste, if that makes any sense. Don't forget to drink lots and lots of water which also helps as does a good walk.

Have I mentioned how blessed I am to have my BFF, coworker, and person I share the office with as my support? Probably not. Maybe there's a REASON for that >:-)
