Here we are March 19th already! I got back from vacation on March 4 and have kind of been in a funk since I got back. Lots of adjustments back to regular flow of life. But the biggest adjustment, the hardest part, is leaving my boyfriend behind. So it has taken been about two weeks to get back on track. I haven't journaled, I haven't been eating properly, and I have been eating bad. So far the scale says I have not gained any weight, which is the bonus.
I realized that I kind of fell of the plan, however, sometimes I guess we all just need to take a break. Today, I have started back on track. I did some cooking yesterday, got some groceries, and got back to planning my food. So today I am back full blast!
My funk 'experiment' has taught me a few things. Not drinking all my water everyday, caused me to be more tired, and have less energy. Eating high calorie, high fat foods, caused me to be sluggish and wow my stomach is not used to all that fat, processed food, and sodium. Almost every bodily function was impacted! Even my ability to focus and concentrate!
I really didn't like the way I felt, I realized that eating healthy meals, lower calories, cooking my meals instead of finding fast fixeds (fast food, processed foods, etc) is not the way to go. So getting back on track is going to be just the right way to go!
So here we are March 19th and ready to get back on my journey! I have lost 32 pounds. People are noticing!! Last night I went out with a group of people I have not seen in quite a long time. And people were telling me that I had slimmed down! That felt good!
So now I am heading towards my goal weight! 165! 35 more lbs to go! It is going to get harder, as my body will slowly require less calories as my weight continues to drop. So we all know what that means.... I got to find my way to the path of exercise!! I just got too! Daylight hours are longer and I really want to start walking after work! Biggest Loser, this season, the theme is No More Excuses! I have been using excuses for lots of things, however, I use most of my excuses around exercise. So I think I need to let the excuses go!
My excuses not to exercise: I don't like my runners, I have no exercise clothes, I don't have an exercise bra, I don't have an mp3 player, I don't have the right water bottle, and the list goes on and on and on!!
All of these excuses have been met. I know have all those things, the only thing standing in my way is ME! So time to put MYSELF out of the excuses and start literally putting my feet forward.
FatSecret buddies I am back, sorry for my disappearnce. I plan to get back on supporting all of you on your journeys as well. I have joined a few good challenges and I am ready to complete the weight loss journey so I can get to maintenance by this fall. Oh that would be so nice!

Today I am right back on track this week. It was really good to realize just how easy it was to fall 'off the wagon'! I am glad that I am much stronger now then I used to be in past weight loss journeys! This time I am doing something right! :) Thanks for the love and support!

The biggest challenge is coming back once you fall off the wagon! Just the fact that you're starting up again says AMAZING things about your determination. Congrats, and keep going!
