Serenitydee's Journal, 20 August 2017

A loss of 800 g this week down to 68.5 kg. Really happy with that especially with no exercise.

My body is starting to move fat around to get rid of it. Let's face it since I started measuring on 29th January I have lost 33 cm around my waist, 32.5 cm around my hips, shoulders down 15 cm, chest only 18.5 cm and that's all in the back because I'm still an "E" cup. Ugh. Arms have lost 9 and 8 cm each too. And that was only from 93.3 kg. Not where I started at 102.7kg or more. Woo hoo.

Now down to BMI of 27.8 down from 41.7

Size 8 and 10 down from size 20.

I'm more confident, feel good, think clearer, more focussed, quicker responses and I can tie my shoe laces while breathing and talking at the same time. I was so excited when I could do that last one.

No exercise yet. Doctor hasn't cleared me to walk on uneven ground yet or strengthen ankle after surgery October last year and a fall at physio earlier this year. No loose skin yet. It's all sucking up. All I can think of is its the food I'm eating, no processed meats, limited processed food. I have an occasional wrap, ryvita or rice cake. Maybe once or twice a week. Nitrates block your cleansing organs so they can't absorb nutrients effectively from your food while they work instead to get rid of those nitrates and additives out of your body. This also slows your metabolism. That's my theory, well researched and confirmed with doctors, gastro guy, nutritionist and other specialists.

This week my weights been bunny hopping but I have also been stressed. My car was tampered with again. Twice in a fortnight. First time a hit and run, trying to clip the corner of my car at rear to make me have an accident. This time weights disappeared off two front tyres, 40 g of them. Substantial and unusual according to tyre place. Caused what they called the death shudders and there's a reason for that name. Stress affects my body and my weight. My metabolism slows if I don't address the stress immediately as the body goes into panic mode, and we know what happens then. Hormones are released and my body stores fat. I also notice my neck increases which it has by 2 cm this week. So hoping now I've addressed the car and have people working on getting details on the hit and run I can release the stress and my metabolism improves. I'm sure it will.

Only 3.5 kg to next goal. ETA mid to end September.

Anyway onwards and downwards. ❤️

Sorry about the issues with the 🚗. Since exercise is out for now, have you thought about meditation for stress ? Breathing exercises.....

Do you know who has been messing with your car and why ?

Not sure exactly who is messing with the car but I'll leave the investigation to the experts. Just keeping car locked away in the meantime Western. Its been a bit scary to say the least. D2jasper meditation sounds very relaxing. I used to do that years ago. Maybe I can add that to the list of things I currently do to help reduce stress. Thanks. In the meantime I had a lovely day with family today. Feeling relaxed tonight. Hopefully the week goes well for all of us and my car is left alone.

That is a stunning effort. Fantastic work. Your kind of started at a similar weight to me with similar goals. I would be delighted if I could follow in your footsteps.
