up♦down♦up♦down♦up- it makes no since! How can someone consume 1000 calories and not lose weight. I am keeping my blood sugar level by eating small meals through out the day so I am not starving and granted I am not exercising, but only 5 pounds? ;-( Come on!!!

Are you getting enough lean protein, lean dairy, fruits and veggies? Are you eating too many processed foods? They contain a lot of sodium. Are you drinking water to stay hydrated? You may be one of those people who lose better when they eat a little more. Try 1200 a day, but make your food more nutritional and not so processed. Sometimes it's about WHAT we eat and not necessarily HOW MUCH. You might also need to get active.
