Wow, I messed up. I was back at work today after a couple of months off (I teach), and my new dean decided to have a beginning-of-semester lunch for us all. TACOS. My kryptonite. I ate lots, along with beans and tortilla chips. And today I pay the price -- in elevated blood glucose as well as weight gain. It's only temporary, I know, but worrisome. My department loves potlucks, lunches, baking, etc., etc., on and on. And quite a few of us have the excess weight to show for it, too. I'm simply going to have to excuse myself from gatherings of this sort, which means I'm going to miss a number of work functions. Uh-oh ... But I have to prioritize myself for a change.
220.8 lb Lost so far: 36.9 lb.    Still to go: 75.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
