Achey, cranky, tired tonight...thanks, hormones!

I hope everyone is doing well. I had a crazy morning and didn't weigh in. I had soaked won bok (napa cabbage) overnight in brine and had to get it seasoned and bottled for kimchee...and I slept a little late. Got the kimchee made, but in all my rushing about, didn't weigh in. I was crave-y all day too (again, hormones), but overall, it's been a good day.

I had a few awesome things happen at work - a nice boost for me! I did something that caught the attention of leadership team (in a good way), and a project I proposed was approved, so yay for all that!

I joined an upcoming walking challenge here...thanks to D2jasper's invite...and as long as my hip will let me, I'll walk some every day. It's time to add some exercise to the mix. I've just started a little teency bit of strength stuff too, so I hope to be feeling even better!

I've been doing well with less tracking (still making good choices) and all, but I want to do some more losing. I'm going to go back to tighter tracking and planning on Monday, since this week's menu/groceries things are already done. That gives me the next few days to review what has been most effective and get my head in the right space for losing more quickly. I hope it goes well.

How about you? What are you working at these days?

Good to hear that you're doin well! I've been experimenting with new recipes and walking briskly almost everynight for an hour... And playin basketball 3days a week. I was thinking about joining the gym nearby if I could make it.. Burning the fat and feeding the muscle is what its all about! Hope you're enjoying ur day👍

Hip problem? I know some older folks, near where I live, who use a recumbent bicycle with which to exercise - low impact on joints and relatively inexpensive (they got theirs for under $200).

Thanks, y'all! I'm down a pound this morning and that makes 25 pounds gone. Wahoo! D2jasper, thanks for naming the challenge - everyone join it, and maybe this one I can figure out how to post in the challenge group! I too have heard good things about recumbent bikes...right now our basement is emptied out (we are finishing it, building walls and stuff) but I'll look into that once we are done working. There are no gyms nearby - we live in a semi-rural area - but plenty of back roads for walks!

My first year of weight loss after my bariatric surgery I used a recumbent bike daily. I wasn't in good enough shape to walk or exercise any other way. Even now I can crank the resistance up on the bikes at the gym to give me a good work out! 💁🏻
