Great job - I always have a goal shirt that put on to check how I'm doing when slimming down

Fabulous! Nothing like new clothes to help show off your accomplishment. My husband has been saying for years that my too big clothes, rather than hiding my size, only make me look bigger. I've tried on lots of clothes and have to agree with him! Way to go, Emily!!

Breezybren I don't do the keto but I do the low carb. I just think that you really research all the diets out there or a few that you find interesting and try to figure out what might be best for you. That's what I did. I've heard great things about keto and I might do that one day but right now it's not the best for me. Good luck on choosing. Happy healthy living. :)

.It's funny when you're wearing bags? But you're just not able to look in the mirror and see the weight loss. I bought a belt to hold up size 18 & 20 shorts that are many years old but they're my favorite everyday ones. Couldn't accept I needed a large belt. Bought XL, cut tag off and two weeks later it's on the last hole. It's great though. Congratulations to the new you. You're right about diet choice? For me 'behavior modification' has been #1 rule, #2 adequate protein intake. So for me a calorie controlled nutritionally balanced diet was the way for me. Slow and steady. I read as many journal entries as I can and give all support because that's what we're all in need of. Knowledge and support.

Were they literally complaining or was that a figure of speech? If it was a literal complaint, tell them to get over it or pony up for some cash to buy new clothes. :-)

I think the exact words were I'm gonna take your pants off and burn them if you keep wearing them. I was like geez. I don't think they're that bad.

They call mine "clown pants" - I laugh, but it's hard finding sizes and styles that flatter and fit as we shrink, isn't it?
