Horseshu1-Yes I do feel so much gratitude that I am able to live here. It was a beautiful night. You do have to watch out for poison oak though and I almost stepped in a big pile of deer poop. I've seen deer just stroll on the sidewalk in front of my house and down the street at night. Its funny how they use the sidewalk. Sometimes we get wild turkeys doing the same thing- hilarious.

Born & raised in the Central Valley, grew up in Monterey. Even worked for 3 years at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Been a lot of places around this world, but nothing compares to a Pacific Coast Sunset ;-)

Egull1- I used to live in Monterey as well! 😊 Just took the kids to the aquarium last month. I posted pics of the Carmel cheese shop for the Keto folks on FS! I wish I could afford to live there now- anywhere right on the coast in Northern California would make my heart sing. I can't afford it w/3 kids. I'm about a 20 minute drive from the waves, so its not too bad and the schools are great, but no pacific ocean breezes.
