Here it is Revvit.... 8oz grass fed sirloin steak, 200g sauteed zuccini, 100g steamed Swiss chard, 100g yellow and purple beans (they turn green after cooking), 80g new potatoes, 1 tsp butter. Total calories is around 650. Can hardly wait to eat it!😊

Oh boy, that looks great! I used to have all fresh vegetables from a large kitchen garden when we had a farm years ago. I made the twins' baby food then too. My favorite veg's I miss most were sweet corn, brussels sprouts, beans and peas, and beets, lots of beets!

Brn-Ide-Grl do you weigh your foods before cooking, or after? I am curious. Looks good to me. I love everything you had on your plate.

Hey SLLockhart. I weigh everything before cooking. That steak was huge so I cut in half and weighed it. I must be getting good at estimating size, because it weighed 8.1 oz before grilling. I checked afterwards and it was 6.3 oz post. According to FS, total calories for that meal were 624. A bit high, but well worth it as was all super healthy stuff packed with nutrients my body needs.

Ah, great tip to weigh beforehand! I'd been doing that with vegetables, to avoid hidden carb concentration. Hadn't thought of it for meats. Thank you!

Thanks Brn-Ide-Grl. I didn't know. I like to weigh before cooking too. I also weigh my veggies before cooking. I don't like hidden carbs like T8U9 says.
