I've been reading The Schwarzbein Principle again, and it's shocking how well it describes my problems. I really have damaged my metabolism by my seemingly successful dieting in the past few years--and probably most people here are doing the same. So sad. We're told what to do, we do it, we are seemingly "rewarded" by weight loss and we think we're doing it the right way--the healthy way--and we think we're improving our health at the same time--but, in fact, we're just setting ourselves up for worse problems in the future.

No time to get into it more now, but I'll be back.
