Judyrose1997's Journal, 22 July 2017

Woke up ravenous this morning. 2 eggs and sausage ...already. Worries me...although I could verify my hunger by the stomach growlings....I still feel some of my hunger is due to anxiety over weigh in tomorrow. I have consistently been losing weight but am still frightened by the scale. I can only face it...and move on. This post is not my finest example of living in the "now". Hell if I don't rat myself out once in a while. Well off to visit some f2f girlfriends for coffee. I should be so honest with them. :>)Hope all have a nice Saturday. I mean it!

Even if the number doesn't go down, it's about how you feel! Stay confident, you are doing so well! Honesty is the best policy! Keep on truckin! 😊

You have been doing well. Don't let that pesky scale scare you. I know I have had times when I have avoided it because I was sure the number would not be what I wanted to see, but I have found that it is not usually as bad as I fear.

A scale is just a scale. It only has as much power as you give it. Keep your eye on the big picture. You are doing great!

Well JudyRose1997, you are being very hard on JudyRose1997, so Stop it!! lol You are doing great, yes, we all do get hungry and we all eat, just now here at FS we are learning to eat better and make better choices along with that. So you ate what you needed to eat to make you feel very satisfied and I am not sure about the calorie count but you can always slack off the rest of the day, if calorie counting is where you are. Be happy, you are feeling the pangs of hungry and satisfying them, not more not less. That is the point of eating you know, not just comfort foods but good healthy foods when you are feeling the need.

Well thanks all, @Sllockhart- That is why I turn to you guys with what I see as the truth. Sometimes it isn't pretty but for me so necessary. I not on CICO...I Keto - this intake is not out of Keto. Just the same...I broke an IF of 16/8 by 1/2 way through on my second day of it. Just probably not ready. And not really a big deal as I didn't carb up and go sweet tooth on the failure. So thank you all for having my back. -j

Thanks for the support and advice. My daughter Marg was talking about the scale and Keto just this morning - after I had posted...she said to take away its power ( like Horseshu1 said) she jumps on it every morning ...has since she stared...no power over her...just part of her day. Simple eh? Thanks again.

If it makes you feel better you with the right people. There's very few of us who love the scale but it's a tool you need to guide you in your weight loss. You did the right thing this morning when you ate protein for breakfast. That's the best thing for hunger. Make sure you don't go a long time without eating and get so hungry you go 'off the rails'. It's so hard to be 'in control '. But that's why we're here for you.
