Just keep going, Poppy. You'll probably get on the scales in the next day or two and find it's suddenly dropped a pound again. Don't be concerned about fluctuations. That's why I hardly ever record my weight when it's the same or gone up a little. I like to see the down arrows only 🙂

Nice as it would be, no matter what you do you'd be hard pressed to see a drop every day. Take care and have a great weekend

Hey Poppy, hang in there. I had some serious plateaus during the latter part of my weight loss, even with deficits every day and doing my best to be accurate! Among other obvious things, it seemed (of course this is only anecdotal) I found that water played an even greater role in what felt like the body attempting to maintain a certain "equlibrium" for days, even weeks as I neared my goal - then BOOM, the weight would drop down almost overnight. If you were to look through my weigh-ins between Aug-Nov of 2016 you can see how mental it was! I had moments where I was terrified that I'd just somehow counted WRONG for weeks on end! Even if I knew better....but in the end, counting everything was also my anchor to sanity. And the weight drop ALWAYS came through in the end, just more erratically in those later months. Had I given up, I'd never have gotten "to" the end....just keep at it. I know it's not always easy. I know bodies don't respond exactly like we'd want them to, despite all logic, but you WILL get there. Remember there's only forward, or "stop". You already know stop isn't want you want, or you'd not have made it this far. Hang in there. xox

I understand it can be frustrating especially when it seems like the universe is conspiring against you. You have your have bad days, we all do, but in the end the only one that controls how you feel is yourself. You have had an amazing journey so far, there's more than 15% less of you than when you started. You can get through this I have faith in you.

Don't get discouraged! Are you strength training? Muscle weighs more than fat! :( But don't weigh daily if you are...set a time and weigh then each week..much more accurate and you'll feek better since weight changes daily! KEEP GOING GIRL!!! <3

Poppy - what did I say about making your goals unrealistic and then feeling let down when you don't make them? You've done amazing - you've lost 34 lb! I'm really sorry you cancelled your surgery but I know you can't reverse that decision. Of course you can afford a dress! Since I know where you live, I know there is a huge outlet mall nearby with excellent shops. I bought one a gorgeous one there for a wedding last year which only cost £25! Hey - it's too big for me now. What size are you again? Maybe it would fit you. I'm happy to post it to you for nothing. I'll see if I can find a pic to show you.

Life has ups and downs that sometimes hit us all at once! When that happens, let go for a day, scream, journal, talk with someone, do what makes you happy. The key word is you... take care of you. I'm stuck right now in my weight loss and no matter what I do the numbers aren't moving... however, I know that in a few days it might show a pound to three pound loss. you've done a great job, keep looking to the end result. If you need to talk, I'm here.
