T8U9. - I buy Flackers @ a local market. Also, they are $4.49 in Amazon as an add-on item. 😊

Wow! Looks great, another idea would be to top the flackers with some hummus or blue cheese- both low calorie- for a smaller "on the go" snack.

Hi glen- they sell the Wildbrine probiotic cabbage at my local Costco. I buy this particular variation at a local market (not a big chain). Its refrigerated. Whole Foods has a great section of this kind of stuff. I even found tangy probiotic pickles there! So maybe start at Whole Goods ( you are in NC, right?) I've been to the WF in Raleigh while visiting a friend. 😊

niamarrie- that sounds delicious but I'm not eating hummus for now because of the carbs. 😉

Have you ever made meringue from the liquid poured off canned chick peas?
21 Jul 17 by member: T8U9
T8U9-no I've never heard of that! But interesting you mention that because 2 days ago I was researching if regular meringues from egg whites could be made without sugar and indeed they can. What is chickpea meringue used for? Vegan dishes?

glen- sorry! My mistake! Well hopefully between Whole Foods and Costco you can find a good assortment of kimchi. I'm in Northern California and absolutely surrounded by foodie culture so the variety of foodie foods here is a bit overboard. 😉 I remember at my son's circle time in 1st grade one of the questions suggested to go around the circle by one of the 1st graders was what is your favorite kind of sushi? 😳
