I have made the decision to do my best to loose the weight i need to before i make the big leap of getting wls surgery. My doctor said he would like to follow me through my progress and that makes me feel like i have someone to report to, so im thinking it will be a good thing.
247.0 lb Lost so far: 2.0 lb.    Still to go: 97.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

I wanted to say congrats...It looks like this has been a struggle for you...and you seem to have researched your decision. I thought about the wls surgery before I went to see my doctor the first time, but ended up with a prescription for diet pills for a 3 month period. she said she would only give them for a limited time to help me get started and then the rest was up to me. Which I have done well.....I wish you much success on this journey. Being a mom is never an easy task. So many things happen to our bodies!
