Hi, I found that if l weight in daily l get so worked up if I don't see a loss, I began checking my weight weekly and found it reduced my stress and anxiety dramatically, besides if you are following a diet that is designed for gradual progress you would not see much of a loss on a daily basis, l would go for a weekly weight in to give you a better indication of your weight loss. I hope that my comments are useful to you and good luck with your weight loss

Agree with Thomas, daily weigh ins lead to paranoia. If you don't lose anything it's very disheartening. Weekly weigh ins tend to be more accurate too as a loss or gain won't solely be down to a fluctuation. It's hard at first but I find that the numbers don't matter as much as the image in the mirror, THATS what you'll want to see the change in most. Good luck!

Once a week, or even every 2 weeks if you have the willpower and patience. I see far too many people here panicking over weight fluctuations when they weigh themselves daily. Water and hormones (especially if you're a woman) all contribute to normal weight fluctuations. Spacing the weigh-ins gives a more accurate picture of any weight loss.

I tend to swim upstream and it seems that way again!! I feel that weighing myself daily either inspires me to continue kicking butt OR motivates me to do better than yesterday!!! It's all in how you look at it I guess. I've weighed myself everyday for the past 2 years and have lost 136 lbs!!! Just do what works for you!!
