Almost 5 lb the first week. I'm glad to see some results, but I had no intention of dropping weight this quickly. It's not healthy. I am eating enough; following the calorie guidelines for my age, sex, weight, activity, etc. Hopefully the weight loss slows to a better rate soon!!

I understand that the quick drop in weight may be worrisome for you ... and i just took a quick glance at your diet calendar ... seems like you are in balance ... although if you look at my calendar, i am creating about 1000-1500 kcal difference daily and cannot drop a pound. additionally, my carbs come in 1/3 or less than yours. what i think is that you have the right mindset ... you don't expect such a rapid weight loss ... but then again ... if you stall or plateau, you may look back and wish for it. I think in the end, it will all even out, but if it doesn't, and you continue to lose, you will reach your goal that much quicker! i congratulate you, sir, on your hard work. keep it up!
