april761's Journal, 15 July 2017

I changed my goal to 67 Kg.
67 Kg is the right BMI for 164 cm height. I don't want to lose more.

Fasting challenges of three days twice in month until 30th of September, 5/2 Diet and 16/8 Intermittent fasting. Don't tell Draglist that I revealed his secret (lol).
Walking and hypopressive (thank you Steven Lloyd), 21 fix day beachbody (Mistybenner thank you) Plank Challenge (thank you Warrenwinter) Push ups (thank you Mahjohn, don't forget 22kill)
It is a journal you understand. I write here to remember what I must do, what I have to do.

For my buddy Kathryn1922

I love this museum. In my opinion is better than the new one of Acropolis.
It has many exhibitions, like antikythera mechanism, explanation and analysis with holograms, ancient shipwrecks with staues, glasswork, food well preserved..
And many collections. Antiquities from other countries..
The administration allows to take pics without flash. These are my own pictures and there are not posted here for profit.

Myrtis's reconstruction

Around 430 BCE, typhoid fever wiped out a third of the Athenian population. Among the many casualties was the great Athenian politician, Pericles. In 1994-95 Greek archaeologists excavated a mass grave in the Kerameikos cemetery.
The grave contained the remains of 150 men, women and children all hastily buried. One of those victims was an 11 year old girl, which archaeologists have dubbed ‘Myrtis’. The girl’s skull was so well preserved that scientists have been able to reconstruct her face down to the last detail. She evidently had reddish-brown hair, brown eyes, a straight nose and slightly protruding teeth. Although ‘Myrtis’ was buried in the Kerameikos cemetery, it is not known if she was an Athenian, a resident immigrant or slave.

@ Phooka Steven Lloyd, Draglist, Mistybenner, Warrenwinter are my light houses from the beginning of my journey. And many buddies sine December 2015, from my Suzytrws and Carmen1098 accounts. With their support, comments, personal success, patience, helped me to lose 22 kg. I am honoured, happy and lucky "enjoying" their friendship.

@ Kathryn1922 Have a happy week my buddy. I am so glad you like my journals. "Be gentle to all and stern with yourself." - Saint Teresa of Avila. From WIKI. Saint Teresa of Ávila, also called Saint Teresa of Jesus, baptized as Teresa Sánchez de Cepeda y Ahumada (28 March 1515 – 4 October 1582), was a prominent Spanish mystic, Roman Catholic saint, Carmelite nun and author during the Counter Reformation, and theologian of contemplative life through mental prayer. She was a reformer in the Carmelite Order of her time and the movement she initiated, later joined by Saint John of the Cross, eventually led to the establishment of the Discalced Carmelites, though neither she nor John were alive when the two orders separated. Nice I learnt something too. Thank you :-)

Thanks April for the letting me know who to credit with that quote....I knew it was some saint and I had just read it not long ago.....a lot of people are devoted to her.....I am not particularly one of them.....much prefer St.Teresa of Calcutta...or Augustine, or his mother Monica....glad you are here to keep an eye on me....they are Saints and deserve proper credit.....I am not, and so far no one has even mentioned me for possible canonization (lol) Hope your week is Happy....and hope I can do better with RDI than I did yesterday.....not good:(
