Local eggs, natural sausage&bacon,organic kale&cauli pan fried in sausage drippings, avocado,red onion,scallions,hot sauce. Why the he** didn't I think of this sooner?😋

976 mg of sodium with these ingredients. You could leave out the bacon. Anyway- this meal was so spot on- its 9 pm and its the only meal I've had it was so satisfying. I measured and weighed everything so I know the macros are right. That's all the sodium I've had today. I'm definitely going to make something similar regularly.

You can use turkey bacon if you crave the bacon taste.

That looks delish ... I may need to copy that meal tonight ... sodium doesn't concern me as much ... only because that'll be my only consumption of salt for the day

This looks so good! About the sodium...keto eating tends to really knock out the sodium in a body. It's one of the reasons people can get the "keto flu". I had high blood pressure before I lost weight and always worried about sodium intake but it is now fine and I make sure to get 5000mg a day. I can't believe the difference in how I feel...

Rckc - my blood pressure is normal so I don't worry about sodium on Keto for myself but people who have high bp or heart conditions and have been told by their doctor to limit sodium are usually still advised to do so on Keto as well. It sounds like the FS member who was watching sodium may have had a history that warranted it. Cheers
