Well I had a mortifying experience at the gym this morning.

I was using the elliptical and I began to notice my shorts were starting to slip down as I was going. This has happen to some extent with my older clothes, but these are my newest shorts (i.e. smallest size) that I bought this year. So on one hand I can say, "Cool, I can go down a size now." [If I just had the money to BUY new clothes. But I digress]

At the 15 minute mark I begin to pick up my pace to running speed. You can probably guess what comes next... They fell right off down to my ankles.

So here I am on an elliptical running about 5 mph when my pants fall off and cause me to stumble and almost fall off the device. All I can say that luckily I was wearing spandex bike shorts under them and it was before the place got too crowded. Unfortunately, the cute brunette I usually chat with saw it happen. I looked up just in time to see her head snap back around to look forward. I can tell she was trying to suppress a serious laugh.

So I slowed my pace and kept tugging on my waist band every few minutes. I will never talk to, or make eye contact with, "cute brunette" again ... or anybody else for that matter. I probably should change gyms ... or cities ... or planets.

But I AM losing both inches and weight! :-)

That's fantastic that your shorts are starting to get looser. I'm at terribly sorry for them coming down. I might have laughed a little too hard on that one. Thanks for a great laugh today :) keep up with the hard work 👍🏻
