I was looking back at the other tracking site I used earlier in the month, and my weight June 1 was 219. I'm at 207 this morning, and it's not quite the end of the month. I didn't realize I had lost this much in this month, so I'm feeling pretty happy right now!

I also went in and changed my goal weight. I had my long-term goal listed, but I've switched to a short term goal, because I think it will be more motivating (for me). Once I reach that one, I'll set for the next one, and I think taking smaller increments will make it all seem a lot more manageable.

Today is our wedding anniversary. 26 years with my best friend. Life is good!

Some members list out all their short-term and final goals on their profile page so that they have solid numbers and dates to focus on. You could also elaborate on your final goal, which may be a number on the scale or it could be a pants size or body fat %.

Thank you all! I like the idea of having a commitment to the long term, but taking it in smaller bits - thank you for the suggestions, Soonsoonsoon! I just tried the PB Fit powder, and it was really good. It adds a whole new dimension to what I can eat! Tonight I'll make zucchini noodles with a thai peanut sauce, and the fat content will be low enough for me to not worry. Wahoo!
