Magdalena003's Journal, 17 June 2017

Welp, I gained back the weight I was hoping to, but it definitely isn't in muscle! Oops.

Ya know, it's times like this that I miss my garden terribly. This diet is a rather costly one and, even if you're not following this WOE, I'm sure you've noticed the cost of vegetables vs the cost of pasta. It's a real shame that it cost so much more to eat healthy than it does to load your body up with crap (not calling pasta crappy at all, for the record it's yummy stuff!). My hours at work were gutted and here's 10lbs! I'm well aware that a good portion of this is water weight and now that I'm back on my feet, so to speak, I'll be able to continue my cauliflower crusade. My error was that I threw portion control to the wind and didn't bother tracking anything I ate.

I did pick up some lovely containers that will help with portion control, but for the next few weeks, I'll be weighing everything out again.
135.0 lb Lost so far: 29.0 lb.    Still to go: 5.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

Containerizing can help.

That's great. I have found that the frozen food section has steamable veggies. I do that. They are like a dollar a bag and eat 1/2 bag per meal. More if I'm feeling hungry. Seems to help in my budget of 100 dollars for 2 weeks. Hope this helps. :)

I always forget about the frozen section. I prefer everything fresh, but I'll have to remember that it exists next time I find myself low on funds. Thanks!
