I started Atkins on February 12th, 2012 and I am a week into Induction. I have lost 4 pounds the first week and I am super excited! There are several of us at work that are all doing Atkins so it is so helpful to have the support of others (some of which have already done it in the past and some others that are new). I found that I experienced some side effects of carb withdrawl that started on Day 3 and ended on Day 5. I had headaches, fatigue, bodyaches and moodiness. They gradually got better and on Day 5 the headaches were gone and by Day 8 the energy came back and was way better than before I started Atkins. I am also diabetic so found that the change has benefited my blood sugar levels. I have been testing several times a day because I didn't want the BS level to crash especially with taking the meds to lower the BS even further.
214.0 lb Lost so far: 3.0 lb.    Still to go: 69.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

1381 kcal Fat: 106.30g | Prot: 81.19g | Carb: 18.96g.   Breakfast: creamora half and half, folgers breakfast coffee. Lunch: silver spring chipotle mustard, bacon bits, red wine vinegar, cheddar cheese, cucumber, extra virgin olive oil, Romaine Hearts (Net Carb for Atkins), Dole Spring Mix Salad (Net Carbs for Atkins), Organic Grape Tomatoes. Dinner: red wine vinegar, Romaine Hearts (Net Carb for Atkins), Beef Top Sirloin (Trimmed to 1/8" Fat), silver spring chipotle mustard, kens blue cheese dressing, kraft american cheese slice, extra virgin olive oil, frozen broccoli cuts. Snacks/Other: celery, garlic cream cheese. more...
