Good day. We made Polenta from scratch for the first time...probably the last. Lots of work , taste was OK but not worth the time. Oh, and a low nutrition to calorie quotient.

Live to learn. Most of my cooking experiments are modified on the second go around, and I've become faster and more organized every recipe attempted. Only a couple of entrées were total busts, which feels like a major waste of time & money. I've only ever made instant polenta, so that would be a new one for me to learn.

Thanks for your thoughtful comment. I think Risotto w/ porcini is much more worth my time

Risotto is always worth the time. Anything cooked with wine, actually :)
