Another rough start to the week, but I did take a day off in the middle of the week to "recover". I used the day to buy some groceries, mow the horrifically overgrown lawn, and do some fundraising/charity work. Good for the soul.

I am excited for today since it marks the annual Relay for Life event in my community. It is 12 hours of walking in honor, remembrance, and in support of those affected by cancer - a cause near and dear to me. It will be a beautiful day - oh the stories I could tell of past events and the heinous weather!! Needless to say, with the 12 hours of walking, I think I will skip the gym today. I will go tomorrow instead and spend extra time with weights.
