DO N OK's Journal, 31 May 2017

I have been on the intermittent fast called 16-8 not eating for 16 hours after dinner going to sleep and then eating lunch with no breakfast,since last Friday, thought I would not ever be able to do a FAST, I call it a FATTY FAST!!..then I have a 8 hour window to eat my calories,last night after gym I really was not even hungry, that was a First for me, long as I have my coffee, if I'm hungry I will eat, if not I won't eat..Working in restaurants, I'm Always surrounded by tempting treats,Just need to stay out of bake shops ?? I will see this Friday what happens when I jump, ( well maybe not jump) on the scales, This coming Monday I have a Gourmet dinner to go to in West Palm Beach with the West Palm Beach Chefs Association of which I'm a member, hopefully I know it will be extremely tempting !!!And my Journey goes on !!!

hey i keep only healthy food at my house...i pack my lunch....if i was surrounded by fine cuisine and great food like u id be 500 lbs .i even try to avoid things like birthday parties and football games where i would be tempted... hats off to u!

Can you drink water while fasting for the 16 hours?

Very interesting diet. I don't think I could fast and still have the energy to work out and such. I won't overeat on healthy food, but if I take one bite of junk food, I'm gone.

Yes water and coffee as I need java, I also thought I could not fast, but most time is after dinner around seven, then later I'm sleeping for 7-8 hours and then have lunch around 11 or 12, so that is my fasting period ,got my body to shed some weight this way, so I would still have energy after lunch for gym as I go around 4:30 then come home at eat dinner, It works for me, so I'm staying with this for awhile.
