wayiwas's Journal, 25 November 2007

Since the yeast saliva test indicated I had yeast, I started the Y-C "B" cleanse the wednesday before thanksgiving (11/21). The "B" is the gentler version, but i think if it works properly, it may contribute to some weight loss. It may take weeks to work, but i figured since i was de-toxing, i should do this also.

Diet Calendar Entry for 25 November 2007:
2008 kcal Activities & Exercise: Walking (exercise) - 3.5/mph - 18 minutes, Walking (slow) - 2/mph - 20 minutes, Resting - 15 hours and 22 minutes, Sleeping - 8 hours. more...

I too, have the yeast problem and it really is no fun. I have started taking a probiotic to help repopulate the good bacteria in my system. Remember to avoid sugars, fermented foods, and mold. It can take 4 to 6 weeks for this to clear up (or longer if the problem has been going on for some time). I am looking for something that will attack the yeast as well and doesn't cost a bundle. Good luck on gettint rid of your yeast. I really think this is what has been preventing me from losing much weight. I am shooting to try and keep my weight stable and then hopefully by January I will have this problem cleared up and will start losing again by then(or sooner!).

vitamin shoppe seems to have homeopatic supplements.- the yc cleanse- believe it or not- is actually yeast (albicans) - it works on a law of similars, i certainly hope it works. doesn't taste great, but it's only once a day- she said avoid fruit for first 2 weeks- good luck!
