Day 2 of snow-it's ridiculous out there. Not really sure what's going to happen about school tomorrow since we can hardly get out of our road much less down the street. A friend came to plow this morning so that my Dad could get to work...even that apparently was rough. We'll have to see. My project for today is to find a hotel in NYC. Does anyone know anywhere good? I bought my boyfriend tickets to a show in April for his birthday-since NYC is not close to where I live in PA, I'm planning on staying the night. That being said, I'm looking for somewhere clean and affordable close to the Broadway Theaters. Since I've never booked a room there before I really don't know what's good and what's not. Any input would be much appreciated! Enjoy the snow for everyone buried today and be safe for those who have to venture out!

I recommend anything Affinia managed. They are not expensive (relatively speaking) and they are very clean and updated. I've stayed there several times, at the one near Penn Station. Have fun! Travelocity has good deals.

Awesome! Thank you so much for the info! I looked it up and booked, the price beat everything else I've been looking at, including the chains and stuff. Very excited and the place looks really cool. Now I just need to find a place for dinner... :-)
