Have you ever held onto a pair of pants that didn't fit, saying, "One day I'm going to wear these...if it's the last thing I do!!!"
After 17 years it happened. I'd purchased these Caribbean Joe's cargo pants (dress size mislabeled and likely the reason they were on sale) and at the time was convinced only 10 pounds lost would do the trick.
The funny thing is I imagined that the day I slid them on I'd hear the sounds of Angels singing to the fanfare magically filling the whole house as I take a victory laps around the full length mirror high-viving the dog and cats along the way....but, nope. Nada. no french horns or so much as Cherub...just me going, "huh. They fit."
I guess the joy is in the process:)
