i started out at 145 lbs. Since then (the last 2 years) I've had a baby, gotten on hormonal birth control, stopped working because daycare is too expensive, gotten a kidney stone and had complications from it which took me out of exercising commission for an entire summer, gotten the swine flu, pneumonia, and quit smoking. I am getting married in August,2010. I don't fit my dress anymore, and cannot return it.
I'm at 184 pounds now (weighing myself in the morning, once a week). So, I started keeping track of my calories, found my RDI and JUST started my new exercise routine. Which is including a balance ball, an abslide, and my fiance (the boot camp babe, as i'm calling him now) He's going to be my personal trainer, and encourage/harrass me (all depending on how i'm feeling towards him at the moment) to get me through my routine at night.
I want to look gorgeous in my dress, and to have it look wonderful BECAUSE of me, not despite me... THAT'S my motivation.
I worked out for an hour with my balance ball, and after i pick my 7 yr old up from school, I'll be using the abslide for 5-10 minutes. I've started to use my balance ball as a seat and bounce on it instead of my couch...
