Selbygirl6's Journal, 25 April 2017

Down again. I'm a bit surprised to have such a big drop overnight. Maybe it was the hour long hike yesterday? Maybe it's the "no eating after 7 pm" the past few days? Maybe it's that new pro-biotic drink I'm having? Maybe it was the yoga class last night? It's anyone's guess but I'll take it. This means that I'm now officially less than 60 lbs away from my "Goal Weight" of 135. At least I think that's my goal weight. I can't remember a time when I was that weight to be perfectly honest. I remember being around 145 when I entered the 10th grade and feeling chubby at the time. I was definitely heavier than all my friends by a good 20 or more lbs at that time. For some reason I got the number of 135 magically stuck in my head. The last time I was even reasonably close to it was about 30 years ago. I'm anxious to see if it suits me. According to Susan Peirce Thompson, if I follow the Bright Line Eating program I WILL indeed achieve my goal weight and stay there. She does say that sometimes our goal weight ends up being a lighter weight than we think it is and yes, it is still possible. I'm feeling like it just might be....

Yes, I took my weighin daily before. I saw the same thing,. The first week of serious trying nothing then suddenly a 2 lb drop. Then on average one pound a week over 3 months. But that weight has stayed off since August. I started now again. Serious dieting for me means only 3 small glasses of wine a week. No sweets. I gave built muscle since last August with fun nine and yoga. Now time to diet again. Intrested to see what happens.

Once I started the downward trend, it didn't matter if I cheated here or there. The downward trend continued.

Congrats! Hiking is awesome, if I need to lose some quick belly fat a nice long hike goes a long way.

The best weight is determined by your height. You can google the charts, but 135 is perfect for a female between who is 5'7". Better yet is to pick a dress size, like a 6.
