This morning when my alarm clock went off at 0530 - I groaned and thought "I can't do this..." I knew immediately there was no point in starting anything. I just don't have the mindset. I have never felt that before and I was all geared up for my old school atkins breakfast , but just the thought of the effort to get organised for the day literally made my heart sink the moment I opened my eyes. So I didn't bother. What is to become of me ?

Don't feel totally defeated. You have tasted success before, which means you do have full control. But I understand what you mean about having the right "mindset"... which is half of the battle. Wishing you luck, and you know all of your friends are here to cheer you on!

It can be so overwhelming and time consuming. My husband laughs and says since I started watching what I eat we think about, and talk about food 3X as often. You can do it take one moment at a time and remember when you fall off just hop back on.

Jill don't make me get on a plane and fly all the way to England to whip you into shape! LOL! Why do you suppose you felt such pressure upon waking and thinking about starting today? I don't get it! Are you relenting your choice of returning to Atkins? You don't have to you know... you can do Weight Watchers or Counting Calories, but Lordy Girl you have do pick something! Or nothing will change. Do you really want to lose the weight? or are you happy where you are at?

Come on Jill - don't give up now! You can do it, cos you've done it before, so sit down and give yourself a good talking-to and you'll be fine. Keep in mind how good you'll look and feel and how much healthier youll be when you've got there and how many compliments you'll get - even if it's to yourself in the mirror. Keep going. Be determined. It'll all be worth it in the end...... :)
