I'm so confused... I stand on the scale and it tells me one thing, but I feel like the opposite is happening to my body. I feel like I've lost weight and I stand on the scale and it tells me I weigh more. I feel like I've gained weight and I seem to have lost it.
So frustrating!
I ended up not going to the gym last night because my back was hurting, but I wish I had gone.
The sun was out for a few hours, but now it's gone. Why!

It's sounds like you need to take a break away from the scale... The scale can play tricks with your motivation and mind-set. It does the same thing to me, so now I weight every 2 weeks. That way, I should see some type of change when I weigh. Also, Stop with the negativity.... I hope this doesn't hurt feelings.... What I've found out since starting my journey on Atkins. The more negative commits or thoughts, the more the DEVIL has control over the outcome. Stay POSITIVE... Keep your HEAD HIGH... DON'T focus on the PAST, ONLY the FUTURE! Hope this help! Smooches! I agree, step away from the scale. I had that same problem. Felt like I was losing weight but in some cases I might have gained a pound. I was all over the place but I think the point was that I felt good. Like I was doing something to better myself. My mind was losing the weight and my body needed to catch up. Stay focused and as long as you feel great stay consistent and keep going.. Good luck

Google "why the scale lies" for some insight. It may be your muscles are retaining water to help them heal, so you are not seeing the scale move. But you are losing fat. I had a friend who didn't see the scale move for months but went down 4 sizes. Are you tracking your food honestly? (every bite, lick and taste adds up). Are you drinking 6-8 cups of water/liquid daily? (It flushes out sodium and helps keep you regular). Are you getting enough lean protein, lean dairy, fruits and veggies? (Sometimes "what" you eat can be as important as "how much".) Are you eating too many calories? You may need to play around with them to see what will get the weight loss moving. If you burn off what you take in daily, your weight will stay the same. Make changes and see what happens.

I have to agree here too. The way you are feeling is more important than the scale. Hope you are feeling better this evening. :) You've made progress and you can keep going toward your goal!
