Cycled like hell in March -- 754km! Two hours on intervals (minimum) x 5 days per week. Drag arse out of bed at 4:45am to be ready to go (after eating, coffee, feeding the cat, driving to gym) at 6ish.
It's definitely not easy. But last Monday I had enough excess energy that I rode for 3 hours and 15 minutes for a total of 51km. And I could have done more, but I didn't have the time. Today, seven days later, it was quite difficult to complete two hours. But complete it I did.
Totals since start day (Feb 6): 1144 km or 711 miles. Weight Feb 6: 268. Today (April 3): 252. That's 16 lbs! And four more weeks to go (then I relocate).
