Epic fail! Lol 😁😁😁 Let's just say things didn't go as I'd hoped! It turned out there was no choice on evening meals unless you had indicated that you were gluten-intolerant or vegetarian or whatever. Because we were part of a large group, we all got served the same. So I just ate it, and drank the included wine. Gained 5lbs, but never mind, I know a good proportion of that is water.

Apart from that, the trip was fun, and a nice change from routine, although we had lots of early starts and long days, so I am glad to be home!

Not out of the woods yet diet-wise, as we're going to a golden wedding party tonight, and they are serving tapas at 10. I will eat before we go, and it's quite likely that I won't fancy the tapas much anyway. I like nice tapas, but I think these will be the less interesting kind. And I can't drink too much, as our band will be playing at the party, but there's other entertainment first, and we won't be on till 10.30, so I'll have to remain reasonably compos mentis. It will be fun!

That was a great way to put your dieting on vacation ... as an epic fail. LOL! It sounds as if you had an excellent time with friends. That is what life should be like all the time, right?

I hear you! Planning a 4 day cruise to the Bahamas. Not going to stress about the food. I'll do my best and get back on track when I get home. :-)

These sudden weight gains can be dispatched quite quickly. The trick is not to let the weight settle. Quick on/quick off. No bother to you!
