just got back from taking a stroll for my soul...Instead of hitting the paved walking path, i crossed our property and ducked under the barbed wire fence and headed through old pasture lands. My intent was to check out the progress on a new subdivision but my efforts were thwarted by the drainage ditch pretty full of rushing water. I wandered a bit further and found where I could cross, but realized I did not have my phone and just in case...I turned back...I then spent some time surveying the winters damage to our shrubs and checked out the garden and so much work we left to continue this spring and summer. It was a good wandering and I found that happy little robin on my return to the back door of my wonderful little home.
