Ms Elizabeth's Journal, 16 March 2017

My recent weighin has been brought to you by the stomach bug. I probably shouldn't even be logging it but the second I realized I was in Onderland I totally had a lord of the rings moment with my scale. Yes I called my scale precious. I have never had any feeling toward my scale other than resentment. It's nickname rhymes with ditch. I decided that it was a female because it seems to take delight in whatever reaction I have to whatever weight I have. Today I love my scale.

No the weight may not stay but today I am below 200 lbs. I feel like I should have a mini celebration or something but the fact that I got there with a stomach bug is keeping me from buying myself something pretty... I may still buy myself something pretty. If I'm still in onderland by next week I am totally buying myself something pretty. I have no clue what that will be... It may just be a new bra or fuzzy socks or a full length mirror to put in front of the scale so it's a double reality check every time I step on it. Nevermind.. that seems cruel and unusual and slightly harmful. Even if I'm happy with the number I may not be happy with the image.

Today is going to be a happy day.

Good loss - hey if we book the times our bodies work against us then we should book the times it helps. Especially after the yukkiness of a stomach bug.

Take every success you can! You have to take the upwards blips. So what if it goes up again, you've hit ONEderland so you know you can do it again.

Awesome job! Just because you broke the barrier when you've been sick doesn't mean you didn't work your butt off prior to being sick to even make it a possibility. You did this! Way to go!!! You deserve that celebration. :) Good luck on the next drop, I'm sure it will come soon.

Congrats on onederland! Even if you pop back up a little after recovering from your illness, you can call that "water weight." It will vanish...
