Learned a hard lesson this week: IF YOU DON'T EAT ENOUGH kCALS, YOU WILL GAIN WEIGHT!

Now many of my friends and even some people in SLBL *cough NICOLE cough* try to eat less calories to lose weight. Only if you sink below a certain level, then you go into starvation mode and just retain every single calorie that you put into your mouth. Sadly, that's where I'm at this week. With school on Tuesdays and Thursdays lasting all day long with back-to-back classes, I don't have time to eat during the day. And to top it off, I've been skipping breakfast to in order to gain some extra sleep time. Not good, I know. Well by the time I get home around 6 pm, great I can eat dinner but that's the first meal I'm eating all day.
Weighed in last night (while incredibly drunk mind you-yes I know alcohol is bad too) and was definitely seeing the effects. That being said, I do believe some of my weight gain is from muscle because I just washed my size seven jeans (so no they aren't just stretched out) and they fit much better than they did a few days ago. Regardless, I've gotta work on this.

Still waiting on P90X. It's probably sitting in my mailbox at home right now in fact but of course I'm at work. Can't wait until it comes. Getting bored of doing the one CD of Hip Hop Abs that I didn't misplace during the move. Stealing the Turbo Jam DVD's from my parents house (still in the plastic wrapper even-so glad they enjoyed their LAST YEAR'S fathers day gift) and do that tonight. SO EXCITED!

On a side note, applied at Lifetime Fitness for a front desk job. Didn't list what hours they were looking for but if it could fill my M W F that'd be swell cuz until about now I'm sooo bored during the day PLUS I'd get a free membership! Woohoo!
