3 eggs 1/2 cup of steel oats and 12 oz whole milk

Love steel cut oats! Another good way to eat this combo is to mix the oats into two or 3 eggs and a little bit of milk or water, or use scottish cut oats and cook like thick pancake. Eat with a bit of butter, or not, and s/f syrup or jam. Kinda like a thick and hearty french toast or an eggy scots oat cake!

I agree, eggs are a good source of protein. I like to do one whole cage free egg and two egg whites. The steel cut oats get the job done for me too...

I eat 2 boiled eggs each day, need to add the oats.
