March 1st love it when March comes in like a lion that means it's going out like a lamb plus only 20 more days to spring. Looking forward to winter being over and getting outside to work on the yard for those spring and summer flowers and seeing the birds come back to the yard for their treats.

I weighed myself Monday and am 2 pounds down from starting my diet on the 17th of Feb. I never used to count calories or carbs on my diets and my husband said I have been on 100's of different diets. He is right I have tried many diets but not this one where I eat 45 carbs a meal, 2 snacks and a total of 1300 calories a day. I always seem to keep the weight off until winter and then it creeps back after December.

Yesterday I had a cheat day I ate 1/4 cup of M&M's, I wanted to eat more but got my mind off chocolate by working around the house. I have always allowed myself one cheat day a week so I don't tire myself out of the diet I'm on. Those M&M's put me 200 calories over my limit! A person has to pamper themselves every once in while you know!

No working on the treadmill this week my full time and part time job has me very busy working 14.5 hours a day this week (Mon-Fri). Once I am trained I will drop down to 15/25 hours a week. Total hours worked this week is 80.5 (14.5 x 5 plus I worked a 12 hour shift for a co-worker on Saturday). Looking forward to nice weather here in Iowa so I can take walks outside and ride my bike for extra exercise.
