hahaha I am struggling today to keep from getting in the car and hitting every local fast food or bakery. I can totally relate. And lemon is my favorite cookie too

I found out I could order girl scout cookies to have sent to troops overseas. No cookies on my poundage, and a feel good contribution. Win-win. My first year without snacking on them!

Ah, I don't make eye contact with those young ladies at the grocery store exits, or I'm a gone-er ; ) , @revvit --what a good idea!

I bought 4 boxes of thin mints and 1 box of the shortbread ones. My next "cheat" day I will allow myself some but it is tough! Friends and family are pushers of those things.

Argh! When the GS come by, I give them the money and tell them to keep the cookies!

I grew up in GS, went to camp every summer, in addition to volunteering at day camps and then working as a camp counselor after high school. Now, I am a Girl Scout co-leader. GS is in my blood! I guess the positive part of the cookie sales is that I don't have any kids of my own, so I don't feel as obligated to buy any. Phew! But trust me... I'm out with our scouts teaching them sales tips and techniques to help them achieve their goals!

HCB - Are you getting a receipt for buying cookie shares? Here they are tax deductible if you are donating the money for cookies but not taking them. We have a carbon copy form that you fill out. You and the GS gets a copy.

When my daughter was in Girl Scouts I was her best customer. Yikes! Finding my fishing pole so we can reel you back in Gokona;)

It's a lesson in the nature of addiction. Try to give them away!

I ate 2 boxes of the shortbread and unfortunately I still have a mint sitting there but I think that is going into the freezer

Boy do I know how that can happen. Well it is over now so get back on track and don't beat yourself up.

I've had a box of those lemon cookies in my desk draw at work for a week. Bought them for DD and have so far only eaten two of them. When I am tempted I remind myself how many net carbs are in one cookie. It really seems to make it much less worth it.

I passed the Girl Scouts outside the grocery store. I said, "Sorry ladies, I broke up with sugar!" Since I don't seem to be getting anywhere, I wish I had bought the cookies.

you create a cheat day and have a caloric target and exercise target that will remove the exess so you get the ability to some times have your cravings and the other days you stick to your normal caloric intake eg. i do 800- 1000 cals on my 2000 cal day on Saturday i do exercise that burns 4000 cal so am good for my weekly sweet tooth and down -2000 on net cals. jedi mind trick!
