Oh, no! :-O It doesn't seem you've been too off on calories. But you've had that surgery to deal with and maybe that's contributed to a MINOR setback. Get back on the horse and ride it to a loss!

I have a weird question for you.... you know how it counts calories for your sleeping/rest well do you know if there is a way to delete it counting any calories while we rest/sleep?

Hmmm, I don't know about that.

You can click on the "x" beside sleeping and I believe that will delete it. But the resting piece stays in place.

You burn calories when you sleep or rest, so you can replace some sleep with some other activity but you burn calories 24 hrs per day. You cannot remove sleep or rest completely. Don't count moderate daily activities like driving or reading as they are already counted as part of activity level that you selected when you were setting account. Search forum, this question is asked all the time.

Thanks, Horseshu! You're right and I wondered when this would show up. I am doing low intensity exercises now, crunches and planking and some weight resistance. I had some salty food yesterday and I think I did retain a bit of water. As for deducting calories for sleeping, I am resistant to doing that because the calories expended while resting are so nominal, and it doesn't feel like I'm really earning that. But I guess if you are being really strict and measuring every thing you eat to get an accurate calorie count, then resting calorie consumption could be subtracted. I am a bit loose with my measurements, though getting better. Today I measured out exactly 1 tablespoon of peanut butter, and I saw it was a bit less than what I had been calling a tablespoon before. Yeah, I need to be more strict with the measuring.
