Good afternoon buddies!
After cleaning most of the day yesterday, today has been spent outdoors for the most part. It's about 76 degrees! Hubby and I went shopping at Lowe's and got a couple more fig trees..we already has one large one in a pot. Of course, this meant we also needed 2 pretty new pots, and organic potting soil. I got those potted, and also repotted a large plant for the outside entry.
I'm eating very little today, intentionally. I had blueberries for breakfast and lunch, and will have a baked sweet potato for dinner. If I have any energy left this evening I'll get a good workout..kickboxing or kettle bells, followed by some relaxing yoga.
Have a great day!

You can root fig trees straight in the dirt, take a cutting off the one you have, peel about an inch of bark off the end and stick in about four inches into the soil where ever you want it.

Cool, thanks! The two we bought today are a different variety than our original, so I think I'll take a cutting from the bigger Black Jack.

How do you usually get your protein? Just curious - not sure how I would do it if went vegetarian
|
I am vegetarian too. We get proteins from lentils, garbanzo beans, any beans actually, peas, Kale, soy, nuts, eggs, and sun dried tomatoes. It's really simple. You can always use Google to know more about it. Google is better than my information!

I eat a lot of legumes, peanut and other nut butters, and kale . Almond and other nut milks also have protein.

Think it got into the 40's today. I found a little patch of green grass under the snow and took a picture of it...I envy you!

@Horseshu1...I'm jealous of the snow. I like warm weather but we had no winter this year so bugs will be awful :(

I wonder if my fig tree survived the winter....btw..why did you eat so little today?

I hope yours survived! Mine went dormant indoors, but is blooming really well now. I don't think I logged anything over the weekend, but will find time to catch up on that today. The reason I ate mainly fruit over the weekend is because my lunch had a whopping 1400 calories on Thursday...something I never do. So, I felt 'heavy' and wanted to give my body a 're-boot' :)
