Happy Halloween!
No candy for me! The evil co-workers brought in five boxes of Krispy Kremes. Kill me now. Thankfully, I avoided them and that was the extent of the treat temptations today. I think this is the first year I can remember when I didn't have candy at Halloween. Crazy!
Did't bring lunch so I improvidsed at a natural foods grocery store. Had 3/4 of a cup of chicken salad at lunch, some tamari almonds (no sugar, no extra stuff - used at lunch and snack), some grilled chicken and roast veggies for dinner, and a cup of tomato dill soup. The only evil in that was the 1/2 & 1/2 and the tomatoes (no sugar at all) in the soup, but I think for winging it I did pretty well. Oh, and breakfast was a hard boiled egg, V-8 and some string cheese.
I am in a bowling league and bowl tonight, so I know my only other intake will be a big ol' Diet Pepsi with ice. Yummy!
I am trying to decide if I want to move on to Phase 2 or stick out Phase 1 a little longer. The cruise is coming up and I'd love to lose as much weight as I can prior. I am almost nervous about adding whole grains, sweet potatoes, and oatmeal to my diet.
